Viswasam was Thala Ajith's last film to release. It had Nayanthara, and Anikha in the lead roles apart from Ajith, while Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu, Vivek, and others played crucial supporting roles. This family drama was directed by Siva, and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films.
The film is one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, and it was distributed by KJR Studios. Viswasam had D Imman scoring the music, Ruben heading the editing department, and Vetri handling the visuals.
One of the most popular songs from the film was Adchi Thooku, that also featured a solo dance performance from Ajith towards the end of the song. The video of this song has now touched 50 Million views on YouTube. Adchi Thooku was sung by D.Imman, Aditya Gadhavi and Narayanan, with lyrics penned by Viveka.
Ajith will next be seen in H Vinoth's Nerkonda Paarvai, directed by H Vinoth. It has Shraddha Srinath, Vidya Balan, Abirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Arjun Chidambaram, Rangaraj Pandey, Aswin Rao and others playing crucial roles. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor.
