WATCH: ACTRESS TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID19, REVEALS HAD LOST SENSE OF TASTE AND SMELL!

The number of positive cases is increasing rapidly, and now, according to Supergirl and The Society fame actress, Olivia Nikkanen, she has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared her health update while being live on the photo-sharing app with her co-actor Kathryn Newton. She revealed that she is feeling better; however, she still feels some tightness in the chest.

She further said that she and her mom are doing fine and are practising social distancing and are living in isolation for more than two weeks now. The diva also said that she has documented her symptoms and experience on Instagram throughout the month.

On March 13, Olivia initially suffered body aches and slight chills. However, the next day, her condition worsened with high fever, terrible body aches, stuffy nose and major fatigue. And a day after that, she lost her sense of taste and smell.

She decided to get tested on March 16, by this time she had additional symptoms like sore throat too. The actress also experienced chest tightness on March 19, by this time she was diagnosed. Finally, Nikkanen calls herself extremely lucky to be able to stay at home and recover.

Just some news! Only touched my face a couple of times and washed my hands after, I promise!! I feel extremely lucky to be able to stay home and fully recover, it is a privilege, though it should be a right. If you are also in that position, please think about the people who are not able to take time off work or take time off of caring for people. We have to make room for those who cannot make anymore sacrifices in their lives. We are living in an unprecedented time that will no doubt change history forever and no person should be left behind. If I can flatten the curve and protect those at risk, I will do so gladly. I hope you will, too.
