In an unfortunate incident that took place recently, popular Hollywood actress and former 'Glee' star Naya Rivera is presumed to have drowned while boating with her 4-year-old son on a lake near Los Angeles, US.

Authorities have said that no body had been found almost 24 hours after she was last seen. Reportedly, on July 8 around 1pm, she had rented a boat at Lake Peru in California and had taken her son for a ride. A person on a different boat almost three hours later noticed the boat drifting and was shocked to find the little boy asleep and alerted the boat house staff.

Post which, the rescue team had plunged into action but could not trace the actress still. The little boy had a life jacket on and an adult life jacket presumable the one Nava might have worn, her purses and mobile phone were found on the boat.

Friends and fans have taken to their social media and are praying for the safe return of the actress. The actress’ last post on her social media was with her son where she can be seen wrapped in the arms of her son.
