'LIVED ANOTHER LIFE & RETURNED! HOW EXCITING IS THAT!': AMALA AKKINENI ON COMEBACK AFTER 28 YEARS!

Her latest movie in Tamil was way back in 1991, a Fasil directorial titled 'Karpoora Mullai', in which she dazzled due to her fine acting skills. After that, she married Telugu star Nagarjuna. Later, she became the co-director of the Hyderabad Blue Cross.

Post marriage, the actress did not take up any other acting assignments in Tamil and now after 28 years, the actress will be returning to Kollywood in a Dream Warriors Production project.

Touted to be a multilingual project in Tamil and Telugu, the film crew had mentioned about the movie thus: "It would be a reflection of the inseparable relationship between friendship and love." In the movie directed by Sri Karthik, Ritu Verma is paired opposite Sharwanand in the film. Naser, Satish, Ramesh Tilak and many others are also acting in this film.

Actress Amala, has noted in her twitter page thus: "An actor is blessed with many lives. Usually after a film when I go back to work & everyone is going about their day normally with no idea of what I have been through in the last 2 weeks, I think to myself , “I just lived another exciting  life & returned.
