Actress Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and herself, has been in the news recently for taking a dig at fellow actors and actresses.
She criticised Ranbir Kapoor last week for not speaking about Politics or any political issue. A few weeks back, she had criticised Alia Bhatt and Aamir Khan for not supporting her during the release of Manikarnika, whereas she had attended the screenings of Aamir Khan's Dangal and Alia's Raazi.
While attending an event, Alia was asked her opinion about Kangana's statements, for which she replied that she has opinions but prefers to keep them to herself. She also praised Kangana for speaking out in a candid way.
Alia said: "I cannot speak as candidly as Kangana does, and I respect her for that. And maybe she is right that sometimes we do hold back. My dad always says that there are already so many opinions in the world that the world could do with one less opinion. So, I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself. But, kudos to her because she genuinely speaks really well."
We have to wait to see how Kangana responds to this.
