CELEBRITIES THANK THE JURY FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE STATE AWARDS

The Tamil Nadu State Film awards are given for recognition and excellence in Tamil cinema. These prestigious State Film awards are decided by a jury.  The artists who have won the awards, have taken the effort to appreciate the jury for giving the award to them. We present below a few of the many thanking notes from various celebrities who have won awards for their works:

Singer Mahati - "I have won the best female playback singer for Nenje Nenje of Ayan (2009). I thank the music director Harris Jayaraj sir, director KV Anand sir and the producer for this opportunity. This is also my second consecutive state award. Before this, I won it for the movie Nenjathai Killadhe (2008) for the song Nera Varatuma. I sincerely thank the state government of Tamil Nadu."

Actor Jiiva - "I thank the audiences, Gautham Vasudev Menon and the entire team, Tamil Nadu state government for this award. I have won the best actor for Neethane En Ponvasantham (2012). Just as how, it is important for a film to do well commercially, it is also important for good reviews and critical acclaim. I am honoured to win the state award."

Viji Chandrasekhar - "I am so happy to have won the best supporting actor state award for the year 2012. I thank the government and the audiences for choosing me and also wish all the other winners of the state awards on their achievements."
