His 39th film which is directed by TJ Gnanavel’s of Kootathil Oruvan fame has been titled as Jai Bhim and features the actor in an advocate’s role. And his 40th film, directed by Pandiraj, has been titled as Etharkkum Thunindhavan.

Meanwhile, a couple of days ago the actor’s Kerala fans stunned everyone by recreating the Pala Pala song from the hit film Ayan which was directed by late K. V. Anand. The song not only went viral on the social media but also grabbed the actor’s attention who could not stop himself from reacting to it.

He said, “Ok, so this is to all the little brothers in Trivandrum (Rajajinagar). Hi, this is Suriya here. What a fantastic work you all have done! Enjoyed completely. It’s been more than 10 years since Ayan got released, the song was recreated in such a lively way. Thanks a lot from everybody from our side. I am sure everyone would have been really excited to have watched this video. KV Anand sir would have been very happy. Without camera stand, cranes, trolly, steady cams, even without choreography, it just showed that if one has passion, we can achieve whatever one wants and nothing can come in between. This message is being sent to lots of people.
