STR JUMPS INTO ACTION TO HELP ACTOR THAVASI WHO IS BATTLING CANCER; EARNS FANS’ RESPECT!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsPopular actor Thavasi who is famous for his supporting roles in films like Sivakarthikeyan's Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai and many more, is currently battling with oesophageal cancer.
His recent shocking pics from the hospital did heavy rounds in the social media. The actor had requested to help him financially for the treatment. Several actors like Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Soundararaja amongst others have contributed from their side.
Now, it has been learnt that Silambarasan who is fondly called as STR and Simbu had contributed Rs 1 Lakh and supported actor Thavasi. And this impressive move by the actor has been received well by the audiences.
On the work front, Simbu recently wrapped up Eeswaran and its teaser was released as a Diwali treat. The actor is currently shooting for Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu in Pondicherry and an update from the film is expected to be out soon.
