BREAKING: ACTOR RAJINIKANTH ADMITTED TO A HOSPITAL IN CHENNAI - DETAILS

The ace-actor has been admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai for a routine checkup. Rajinikanth's wife Latha Rajinikanth said that the Superstar is well and has gotten himself admitted only for a full-body check-up at the hospital, and that he will remain in the hospital for a day to undergo the required tests.

The top star, shared pictures of his meeting with President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his Twitter handle a day after he received the award and said he was extremely happy to have received their wishes. The actor's wife, Latha Rajinikanth accompanied him. 

Rajinikanth's upcoming film, 'Annaatthe', is slated to release in theatres on November 4, coinciding with the festive date of Deepavali. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the film has been produced by Sun Pictures. Apart from the Superstar, the movie stars Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Soori, Sathish, Jagapathi Babu and many others in prominent roles. The music for the film will be composed by D Imman. On October 27, 'Annaatthe' was screened at a private studio in Chennai. The actor watched the film with his family at the private screening on Wednesday.
