16-TIME NATIONAL AWARD WINNER PASSES AWAY

Legendary filmmaker Bhimsain, considered as India's animation pioneer and avant-garde filmmaker, passed away today at the age of 81.

Notably, the veteran director has won a whopping 16 National Awards. He will be remembered for his cult drama Gharaonda, which came out in 1977.
