Vedalam's lead villain Rahul Dev shares his intimate experiences with Thala Ajith in this conversation with Behindwoods,

 

"Ajith is just a regular person who happens to be a superstar. We have had lots of 'real' conversation and he used to advise me about making a new beginning in life. I experienced personal tragedy some time back and I am now a single parent. Such conversation with him really mattered a lot to me.

 

He has varied interests in areas like photography, car racing and also talents as a chef. He is good at all of them. He is a vulnerable human being who has seen lot of ups and downs. That makes him very intimate and personal to me. He did some favors too, in relation to my son's education in the UK. He didn't have to do all this but he still did.

 

And when the hero makes Pongal and Biriyani for the unit, just imagine the euphoria levels that a light boy and any other everyday crew member would have! The unit would want to push more and work harder the next day.
