After the era of Simran and Jyothika, the heroine who has mesmerized the audiences in Tamil Nadu to the core ever since the early 2000s is undoubtedly Trisha Krishnan. She is a survivor and has done so, with a superb success rate opposite all the reigning superstars in town. This cute and ravishing Chennai 'ponnu' is also known widely for her initiatives in rehabilitating street dogs and her general work for animal welfare.
