AJITH TO COME AHEAD OF KAMAL HAASAN?

This year, Diwali falls on November 11 Wednesday, and as is the norm, many new films are expected to release for the festival of lights. Some of the films said to be in the running are Kamal Haasan's Thoongavanam, Ajith's Thala 56, Dhanush's VIP 2 and Udhayanidhi's Gethu.

 

We hear from a section of the trade that Thoongavanam and Thala 56 would make it to theaters well in advance of Diwali, to kick start celebrations way ahead of the D-Day. While Thala 56 may hit the screens on November 5th Thursday, Thoongavanam can be expected a day after, on November 6th Friday.

 

There is nothing official about this and we may expect release date announcements in the coming weeks.
