The fairer sex has been showing active interest and participation in the extensive relief efforts following the devastating Chennai rains. Hansika was prominent among the lot of heroines to announce a donation of 15 lakhs towards relief efforts while Sridivya has contributed 10 lakhs from her end.

 

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Priya Anand, Suhasini Mani Ratnam among others have been really busy with on ground relief efforts while Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha, Madhu Shalini, Rakul Preet and Lakshmi Manchu have been involved in the Mana Madras Kosam initiative launched by Telugu actors. Among other heroines, Shruti Haasan and Trisha have been active on social media in sharing posts and information about the relief efforts while Amy Jackson has also expressed concern and her willingness to help.
