''HE MAY DRIVE ME TO A STATUS ABOVE SUPERSTAR TOO!'' - STR DECLARES

The Vaalu hero, Simbu met the press last evening (August 18th) for a team meet along with his dad T Rajendar, director Vijay Chandar and music director Thaman. Journalists generally love to assemble for Simbu's speeches, as it gives a lot of fodder to their news stories. STR has always been a hot and happening personality with respect to his public image.

The highlight of last evening’s speech was definitely the part where Simbu spoke about our beloved Superstar Rajini. To a poser on his pursuit of the Superstar tag, and whether he still covets that status, this is what he had to say,

“I have no intent on pursuing the Superstar tag anymore. I have surrendered myself to God and will accept everything that he gives me. You never know, he may drive me to a status above Superstar too!”

Evidently, his involvement in spirituality has taken a whole new level,

“Only because Rajini sir spaced out his projects, many other stars could emerge out. So if my 3 year absence resulted in a similar trend, I am more than happy”, declared Simbu when asked about new stars who have scored big during his 3 year absence.
