VIJAY'S STRONG FAN FOLLOWING AND THE SRIDEVI FACTOR

As reported earlier, Pahlaj Nihalani's 'Vishal Distributors' would be releasing Puli in North India, mainly in its Hindi dubbed version and also in Tamil and Telugu in a few select locations. We spoke to Chinni Nihalani to get an idea about the buzz for Puli up North.

 

"The buzz is strong and we are planning a big release on October 1. The final screen count would be arrived at, in a few more days. In addition to the Sridevi factor, Vijay also has a strong fan following here and we expect the film to generate good buzz irrespective of the competition from Hindi films."

 

We also heard that Sridevi's extravagant return after the subtle English Vinglish is a major factor in Puli's increasing demand up North.
