PREMAM DIRECTOR GETS ENGAGED!

Director Alphonse Putharen who is fresh from the success of his blockbuster Malayalam film Premam, got engaged to Aleena Mary Antony on Monday, the 17th of August at Little Flower Church in Kochi.

Alphonse Putharen created a niche for himself with his debut outing Neram, which happened to be a Tamil - Malayalam bilingual. Neram turned out to be a moderate success at the box office.

He returned bigger and better with Premam. It is a coming-off-age love story which turned to be a rousing success. Though it was a straight Malayalam film, it did exceedingly well even in Tamil Nadu as well. Hope he enthralls us with many more interesting projects.

Alphonse’s fiancé, Aleena happens to be the daughter of a famous Malayalam film producer Alwin Antony. The couple is set to get married on the 22nd of August.
