Oh Kadhal Kanmani - Vintage Mani Ratnam tale
Mar 01, 2015With Oh Kadhal Kanmani (OKK), ace director Mani Ratnam seems to have returned to what he is best at - a contemporary, urban take on romance. The trailer of the film was released a few moments back and it features sparkling chemistry between the lead pair - Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen, along with a super-peppy music score by A.R.Rahman and lush visuals by P.C.Sreeram. The film seems to be about a couple who are madly in love, with the male half being averse to marital commitment.
The scenes in the train and at the railway station have a strong similarity with Alaipayuthey, the director's most recent romantic cult, which released in 2000. Fans in the social media are even calling OKK as Alaipayuthey 2, and the expectations are growing as the film gets ready for a release in April.
Dulquer is at his natural charming best, and along with the cherubic Nithya, they make for a splendid pair. Aadhi and Tara are waiting to enchant us this summer !!!
