200 DAYS OF LOVE!

One Malayalam movie that turned out to be a phenomenon in the whole of South-India this year is Premam. It never gave a usual movie watching experience but went beyond all that and seeped into the heart and soul of the viewer. Was it Nivin Pauly’s charm or the three beautiful serene looking divas or Alphonse Putharen’s aesthetic presentation or the soulful music? May be all of the above!

Yesterday, the 14th of December marked the 200th day of this film's release and it is very interesting to notice that the film is still running with strong audience turnout in Chennai. A non-Tamil film can receive such a reception in Chennai only if it holds that special unexplainable factor and Premam is loaded with that factor.

The Telugu remake of this coming of age love story has begun rolling with Naga Chaitanya, Shruti Hassan and Aisha Sharma in the lead. Happy 200 days of Premam folks!
