Puli Paarvai - “A biopic of international standards”

With Kaaviya Thalaivan pushed to a later date, a series of movies will hit the screens this weekend, among which will be director Praveen Gandhi’s ambitious Puli Paarvai. The movie is based on late LTTE chief Prabhakaran and the hideous execution of his 12 year old son, Balachandran.

 

Talking to Behindwoods about his gutsy project, director Praveen Gandhi states, “Puli Paarvai will be a biopic of international standards. We’ve put in a lot of research to make sure the historical facts are accurate.”

 

“We have also used a number of fresh faces for the central roles and I sincerely hope this movie urges the directors to take up more impactful projects like this.”
