An official complaint on Anirudh by Vaai Moodi Pesavum producer

An official statement issued by Radiance Media, the production house backing Balaji Mohan’s latest film ‘Vaai Moodi Pesavum’, has alleged irresponsible conduct by music director Anirudh.
 

The statement claims that Anirudh had accepted the offer for working on the film and had reportedly claimed the advance for the same too. But the composer had allegedly backed off from the project stating that he had other prior commitments.

In a letter addressed to the President of Tamil Film Producers Council, KR, Radiance Media stated that Anirudh had been behaving indifferently and has not shown intent to return the advance. The issued statement also read, “This irresponsible conduct by Mr. Anirudh not only caused our movie to be delayed but also caused us mental agony. Further, we learnt from reliable sources that besides ditching us in the last minute, Mr. Anirudh is also involving himself in politicking, bickering and badmouthing about our movie.”

Through the letter, Radiance Media have requested intervention from the Producers Council to ensure that their alleged advance money to Anirudh is recovered at the earliest.

Vaai Moodi Pesavum will see the Tamil debut of Dulquer Salman alongside Nazriya Nazim. Newcomer Shaun Raghavendra has been employed for the music department.
