'Vijay 58' - ''First of its kind for me''

Sudeep of Naan Ee fame is officially in for the Ilayathalapathy Vijay – Chimbudeven project (Vijay 58). Reportedly, he has been signed for a record sum. According to trusted sources, Sudeep’s role will be as important as Vijay’s role in the movie.
 

About the movie, Sudeep said, “It belongs to the adventure-fantasy genre. It's a very well-crafted script and the first of its kind for me.” He added that though Naan Ee had got him a respectable position, he still did not choose Tamil scripts as he needed an exciting script and character.

 

It’s also said that Sridevi will play an important role in the movie. And, the likes of Shruti Haasan and Deepika Padukone are also in talks for the female lead roles.
