A R Murugadoss blesses …

We had reported some time back that students of director A R Murugadoss, cinematographer Santosh Sivan and editor Sreekar Prasad would be teaming together in a project with Arulnithi as the lead.

The film is titled as De Monte Colony and it went on floors this morning (3^rd November) with a small pooja and was attended by A R Murugadoss, Tamil Arasu (Arulnithi’s Father) and Murali (Ramanarayanan’s son), who attended the event and blessed the young team.

Ajay Gnanamuthu, who had worked with A R Murugadoss would be wielding his maiden directorial baton while Aravinnd Singh, Santosh Sivan’s associate is the cinematographer and Bhuvan Srinivasan, an erstwhile assistant of editor Sreekar Prasad will be in charge of editing.

Music will be scored by Keba Jeremiah who is the lead guitarist of A R Rahman and who had worked in films like Rockstar, Maryan, Kadal to name a few.

De Monte Colony is said to be a horror flick that will be bankrolled by Thenandal Films and Mohana Movies. Behindwoods wishes the team of De Monte Colony all the very best!
