GV Prakash picks Christmas to begin

Composer GV Prakash turns producer with Madha Yaanai Koottam. Directed by Vikram Sugumaran, who penned the dialogues for Vetrimaaran’s Aadukalam, this film is set in Madurai and is about a very interesting tradition called ‘Seimurai’.
 

The movie, which was earlier scheduled for a release on 13^th December, has been pushed to 25^th December. The team is apparently looking to make full use of the Christmas holidays. Meanwhile, the movie is 2 hours and 13 minutes long and will go for the censors early next week. 
 

Starring Kathir, Oviya, Jayaprakash, Vela Ramamoorthy, Viji Chandrasekar and Anji in central roles, the movie has NR Raghunanthan’s music. JSK Film Corporation holds the distribution rights and will release the movie under their banner.
