Nadigar Sangam convened a meeting yesterday under the leadership of Radha Ravi, and all members of the board were present for discussion. On their main agenda was the case of Vishal, and his comments on the organization during the Vishwaroopam issue. The board reviewed Vishal’s letter yesterday and while many have reportedly suggested severe action against him, the board has decided to send him a second notice seeking further explanation of his statements.

Veteran comedian Kumarimuthu too had been sent a similar notice for apparently disrespecting members of the Nadigar Sangam. He was requested to be present before the board to offer his reasons and explanation but Kumarimuthu did not appear for the meeting citing other commitments. He too has been sent a notice that summons his presence at a later date.
