The
title of the film reminds viewer of M G R’s film
of the same name. One may even wonder if this is a remake
but it is not so. The similarity between the titles
ends just there. This film has showcased in a beautiful
manner the feelings, expectations and cravings of today’s
youth. A young man’s dream of yesterday, life
of today and expectations of tomorrow are handled in
an innovative manner.
Ravi Krishna of 7G, Rainbow Colony fame is the hero
who dons the role of Vetri. According to the director,
not only the lead characters but also the supporting
cast in the film is skillfully crafted in a very realistic
fashion.
Rural
youth Vetri thinks that he has no success in his life,
and reaches the city to seek his fortune. Having landed
in the city, he experiences the hustle bustle of the
city and enjoys its pleasures. On this journey of his,
whether he reaches his goal or whether he tastes success
is narrated in a light vein in the film. Tamanna features
as Ravi Krishna’s heroine and it has been said
that the song sequences of the lead pair will be the
highlight of the film which will attract the youth.
