This year has been the time of small time movies making it big. Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom is one such. The quirky title is also reminiscent of the fact that the movie is a comedy about a young man who has selective amnesia, meaning missing few pages of his life.

Director Balaji claims that the movie is based on a real life incident taken straight out of cinematographer Prem Kumar's life. About to get married, Prem forgot a few days of his life and was met with interesting and often hilarious complications. Balaji has brought the story to screen and Prem is also the cinematographer of the movie.

Another interesting fete of the movie is that a song has been crowd-sourced. The makers claim that the Omlette Potta song is composed with the help of about 1800 Facebook fans. The film's music is by Ved Shankar who is a product of AR Rahman's school of music and background score is by Siddarth Vippin.

Featuring out and out debut actors, the movie has Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathri, Rajkumar, Vigneswaran and Bagavathi Perumal playing lead roles. The movie has a U certificate and is releasing this weekend all over.
