Sridhar is the Tamil dubbing version of the Telugu 2011 musical 'Oh My Friend'. The movie has Siddharth, Shruti, Hansika and Navdeep in lead roles and is directed by debut director Venu Sriram. This is a love story of two couples, played by the four lead characters of the movie.

When it was released in Telugu, the movie garnered mixed reviews although director Venu Sriram was praised for resisting to mix masala elements in the movie. It's also been declared as a feel good entertainer with not too much commercial aspects and lauded for great music.

Music is composed by Rahulraj, who is the recipient of the Kerala State Award and the songs had become rages when they were released in Telugu. Significantly, Siddharth and Shruti both sang in the album with an inclusion of other young singers.

Sridhar is releasing this weekend, hoping to replicate its moderate success in Telugu. With Shruti and Hansika in the cast, there is also scope for enough eye candy.
