As if his spoilt-village-brat act in Kalavani is not good enough, Vimalraj is back with yet another youngster whose bad-boyishness is purely circumstantial. So that’s Ethan for you in a line. Ethan is also the story of a youngster who doesn’t think too much about borrowing money for leading a good life. Often not thinking about the repercussions debts might cause in relationships.
He borrows money left, right and center and then disappears from the people’s lives from whom he borrowed money. And that leads to interesting circumstances in his life. So much so that his love with Sanusha (from Renigunta) is on the rocks owing to his reckless borrowing habits. Director L Suresh says that the movies message is that “Nobody can live without borrowing”.
Ethan revolves around Vimal’s character and the travails he goes through in day to day life. His love, his aimlessness in life, his business interests and ambitions and how they are affected owing to his debts form the crux of the movie.
Producer, Nasser (who also produced Kalavani) is very optimistic about the movie’s prospects at the box office. Ethan is scored by Taj Noor and Nasser says that there is a whole mimicry song in the movie. Ethan is releasing this weekend amidst hopes and aspirations by the actors and producers.
