After Vaanam, Bharath will be seen in Yuvan Yuvathi and his heroine is former model, Rima Kallingal. This film is going to be a clean family entertainer with loads of comedy and romance. The makers believe that in this day and age when it has become fashionable to shoot expletive-ridden films with an overdose of violence and sex, Yuvan Yuvathi will be like a breath of fresh air.
Bharath is happy with his film especially since it is a solo hero project. The actor was seen in quite a few action oriented films like Pazhani, Thiruthani, and Aarumugam which failed to make the desired impact. He will be hoping that Yuvan Yuvathi turns things around for him especially since it is a romantic comedy. The actor wanted to make a nice feel good movie and he feels this film fits the bill.
Santhanam who is becoming somewhat ubiquitous in Tamil films will be seen as Bharath’s friend. Since he can always be counted on to make people laugh, it is to be hoped that he is in fine form in this film. Sampath will also be seen in this movie.
Rima Kallingal has been seen in quite a few Malayalam films and she is very popular there. This is her debut film in Tamil, and she will be trying her best to establish herself. If she is anything like her predecessors Meera Jasmine, Gopika, Nayanthara, and Amala Paul she can look forward to a bright future.
The plot revolves around a young man who dreams of moving to the US. He finds true love and the story follows him as he deals with the obstacles that stand it the way of him uniting with his lover and how it affects his dream. The young man’s relationship with his father also comes under the scanner.
Music for the film has been composed by Vijay Antony. The songs have been shot in the picturesque locales of Seychelles. Bharath and Rima are considered good dancers so the songs are supposed to be awesome.
Director, Kumaravelan who made Ninaithale Innikkum is waiting to see the audience reaction to his film. His innovative strategy not to use stills from the movie for posters and opting instead to have them pose with their heads covered has fired interest in the film. He is confident that the interest will be sustained after the release too.
