Agarathi is the movie adaptation of thriller writer Rajeshkumar's novel Iravil Oru Vanavil. It's strange to think what prompted the director for a title like this when the novel's title Iravil Oru Vanavil is good in itself. Directed by Naga Venkatesh and produced by D Varath, the movie is simultaneously being released in Telugu as Vaibhogam.

Agarathi stars Pratheep, Azhagi Monica, Soundarya, Archana, Kiran, Pavan, Sathyan and Bhuvaneswari in the lead cast. Sundar C Babu scores music.
