In
the tinsel town, married actresses
cannot continue their profession after
marriage like in the other fields
of employment. Marriage transports
them to a different and matured plane.
But the same thing cannot be said
about their male counterparts.
So it is not surprising, when Actress
Jyothika called it a day in Kollywood.
All the same she should be complimented
for her professionalism. It is almost
two weeks since she got united in
matrimony with Surya.
Though
the couple has decided that Jo would not
act in films any further, there are of
course, exceptional situations.
One
such instance is ‘Mozhi’. This
film is being produced by Prakashraj for
Duet films and directed by Radha Mohan of
Azhagiya Theeye fame. Prithviraj pairs with
Jyothika in this film where she takes on
the role of a girl with speech disability.
The film is complete except for Jyothika’s
portions. So once she gets back from her
honeymoon trip from Europe, she would don
the grease paint once again albeit for a
short time. There are two songs and some
scenes that need to be picturized with her.
She
is expected to do the final touches to other
films that have been committed earlier.
Dates have been blocked to complete all
pending projects before she plunges herself
completely in marital bliss. Of course,
we all would miss you Jo.
