It is common knowledge that finding heroines
for Simbu is a tough job. The amount of confusion
and delay that was encountered while scouting
for a heroine for Kaalai before Vedhika was
finally roped in has already been reported.
But Simbu’s quest for heroines doesn’t
seem to be getting any easier. The search
for a female lead for Simbu’s next movie
Kettavan has been on for some time.

News is that a new face has been roped in. Well, she is
not a new face in the real sense of the word; she is actually
a quite familiar face for all of you who have been watching
Southern Spice Music over the past year or so.
She is Lekha, the bubbly girl who has been anchoring shows
on the channel for over a year. Lekha now becomes the
second SS Music VJ after Shreya Reddy to make it to tinsel
town. Kettavan is scheduled to begin only after Kaalai
and will be directed by Nandu. We wish all the best to
