It is inspiring to note that social awareness
is on the rise and more so when increasing
number of celebrities take up and work for
many social causes. When a member from tinsel
town is involved in noble events like blood
donation and eye and organ donation, they
are certain to draw with them their fans also.
This has helped the society largely.

Recently three actors from Kollywood have silently accomplished
a noble deed without much fan fare. Sandhya, Keerthi Chawla
and comedian Ramesh Kanna have completed the necessary
procedure for donating eyes in a simple function. They
do have predecessors in their industry like super star
Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Meena and Sneha. We do hope
that more and more people come forward to donate eyes
thereby helping someone in need.
