The rough patch in the personal life of actor
Prashanth appears to continue. By now, it
is known to everyone that Prashanth and his
wife Grihalakshmi have filed for divorce in
the family court and are waiting for court
order. Of course, there was some kind of respite
some time back in this issue when both the
parties expressed their desire to live together.

Meanwhile Grihalakshmi is said to have met Chennai police
commissioner Ms Letika Saran and has submitted a dowry
complaint petition against Prashanth. When she was questioned
on this, she evaded the issue stating that the matter
was subjudice. However, Grihalakshmi's advocate mentioned
that though Prashanth appeared keen in court to live with
his wife and kid, he never exhibited such a behavior at
home when Grihalakshmi reached his residence and was also
not willing to appear for talks. Advocate also added that
Chennai police commissioner has promised an enquiry on
this. Prasanth and his parents, as a precautionary step
have also taken anticipatory bail.
