Bring on subtitles, let’s
challenge the world
Hi there,
I am Shashi from Singapore. I strongly feel that having
English subtitles can definitely bring Tamil films forward
to world
cinema. English Subtitles will definitely pull in non-Tamil
fans. They would understand the realism and technical
qualities which Tamil films have (far superior when compared
to bollywod). Why must a maniratnam,bharathiraja or selvaragavan
run to Bollywood… coz it gives them a national exposure....
It can be likewise done in Tamil with English subtitles.
Here in Singapore there are lots of Malays who watch
Hindi films ..why? Coz they have English subtiles.....let’s
bring on english subtitles to Tamil films also. I beg
the Tamil cinema association to really look into this
matter....come on we have good talents and it must be
exposed...
