Hi this is Siva J reporting from Edmonton, western Canada (one of coldest city in the world). Edmonton never had direct release of Tamil Movies. This time we had special print which was flown from Vancouver for special screening in Calgary and here in Edmonton for the weekend. People from Calgary who missed shows on Saturday had driven 4 hrs to get the glimpse of Sivaji in Edmonton for Sunday shows. The Canadians were visibly shocked to see huge desi crowd waiting 2 hours before the screening. It was full house here. We had paper flowers thrown and whistling of the opening sequence, although it was gentle crowd comparing to rocking Chennai Crowd. But still watching Sivaji on Big screen on the first weekend itself was dream come true.

Note: Fans cut across all age spectrum even here in Edmonton. Young kids less than 3 yrs old were more than happy to be waiting in the "Q" for a glimpse of Sivaji. They had already started dancing style song steps from the trailer. Only almighty can answer how these kids are also fond of Rajini. Not just his action sequence defy’s all (Newton's) Laws but his fan following also defy s all regional boundaries across the globe … the link for Edmonton video by Rajini fans in Edmonton from you tube.
