Fremont becomes Chennai
:
Dear Behindwoods,
I'm Kannan from Los Angeles. I'm a regular visitor of
the website and I appreciate your efforts in bringing
in every details of Tamil film industry, particularly
about SIVAJI!!! I just wanted to mention few words about
the movie Sivaji.
We drove to Fremont (about 370 miles from Los Angeles),
to get a glimpse of Sivaji. We had booked the ticket for
Saturday 4:30PM show (did not get tickets till then!!!).
I couldn't resist myself even for a day after the release.
We were standing outside the theater for getting inside,
people crossing the theater where actually looking at
us, what's happening here, they have never seen such a
crowd standing together. It's all for thalaivar!!!!
Finally the movie started and it was like watching a movie
in Chennai. People whistling and dancing, to see thalaivar
in action. I can't find words to describe the movie. Every
song is a visual treat, the Style song was amazing...The
first half comedy sequences...The action sequences by
Peter Haynes...Overall the movie was a rollercoaster ride
and I'm sure, I'm going to watch the movie once more.
On behalf of zillions of Rajini sir fans across the globe,
I thank Shankar sir and his team for bringing in such
an amazing entertainer!!!
