Fumble in Colombo :
Dear Sir,
In Sri Lanka, when Sivaji song CD was released in March,
a CD was sold for RS 500/- (usual price is around Rs 200/-).
RS 500/- was because those who released it promised to
give free ticket on first day or special show to those
who bought CDs. A sticker was given with a rubber stamp
of MR associates. People in huge number bought the CD,
thinking they can view the movie as early as possible.
But when people asked the CD agents for tickets, the reply
was that the show was over on Thursday. Thousands of people
who bought the CDs for first show were cheated. The people
were shouting in the sea street. This is HUMBUG to make
easy money by some elements. Those who paid Rs 500/- (Poor
daily wages too) again had to stand in queues and pay
another Rs 200/- and watch the movie.
Who is going to punish these cheaters?
Rajan from Sea Street, Colombo
