The producers of Madrasapattinam once said how Vijay was very particular about tracing down Amy Jackson and rope her in for the film. The ambitious director has yet again used few international factors for his upcoming film Thaandavam. This film’s London schedule is considered to be one of the longest schedules for a Tamil film in a foreign soil.
Vikram plays a blind man, practicing the art of human echolocation. This concept was inspired from an American named Daniel Kish, who is also an active echolocator. The American has also played a part in the film.
Another international connect is the sand art. Vijay brought a number of sand artistes from Germany to create the art for the beach song, Uyirin Uyire. The making of the set was also released as a short video by the production house recently.
