We had reported earlier that Anushka is keeping her other offers on hold so that she can allot dates to Ajith's 53rd movie with director Siva, which would begin in December 2012. Now, we are hearing that Anushka might be roped in to replace Richa Gangopadhyay in Karthi's Biriyani to be directed by Venkat Prabhu.
She is already pairing up with Karthi in the movie Alex Pandian and sources aver that their pair is very good. This might have factored in the director considering her for Biriyani too. Plus the producers of Biriyani, Studio Green, have already worked with Anushka in films like Singam 1 and 2 and Alex Pandian.
