Even before Vijay signed up for Shankar’s Nanban, there were talks that the hero would join hands with Ameer for his Kannabiran. But the project was assumed to be shelved for unknown reasons. But now we hear that Ameer is eager to do the film with Vijay and that he is waiting for the actor to give him bulk dates.
Ameer has completed the shoot for Aadhi Bhagavan starring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra in the lead and is presently working on the post production of this film. Though an official release date hasn’t been announced yet, the long-in-the-making film is expected to hit the screens by the end of 2012.
Meanwhile, Vijay’s Thuppakki is also under post-production and the title case isn’t resolved yet. The final verdict has been kept for September 21st and the makers are hoping for the best. The trailer of the film will hit the net immediately after the judgment is made. The producers are positive about the film’s release on Diwali day.
