Nani is gaining popularity in Tamil thanks to Veppam and Naan Ee to a large extent. His small role in the latter made a solid impact among the audiences. He is also doing the Telugu versions of much expected Tamil movies like Neethane En Ponvasantham and Nimirndhu Nil featuring Jiiva and Jayam Ravi respectively.
Now, he might be doing a bilingual and would feature in both the Tamil and Telugu versions if things fall in place. This might be the remake of the popular Bollywood hit Band Baaja Baaraat, which introduced Ranveer Singh and also starred Anushka Sharma. Gokul, an assistant of Vishnuvardhan would direct this one.
There are rumors that Parineeti Chopra would feature in this remake. Some other popular South heroine might also be booked. Looks like an exciting prospect indeed.
