The Kaavalan star Mithra Kurian had a real scary encounter on the shoots of her latest film Nandanam. They were shooting a duet song on the beautiful backwaters of Alappuzha. She, along with her hero Sivaji Dev, was enacting the duet in a boat while director Shyamalan was canning the song from an adjacent boat.
While this was happening, a giant boat had come in the opposite direction at jet-speed and the film crew was taken aback. Despite the earnest efforts of the boatman he could not steer his boat clear off the giant boat which fractionally crashed into the edge of the boat in which Mithra and Dev were in.
As a result, she fell into the water, leaving the film crew screaming for help. The fishermen who were nearby swam to her rescue and brought her safely to the shore. One adventure indeed!
