Mugamoodi has netted handsome returns in its opening weekend. The detailed breakup of the collections are available and the total from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala for the first weekend is between 8.5 and 10 crores. Coimbatore, Chennai, Chengalpet, North/South Arcot areas have crossed the one crore mark while Madurai, Trichy and Salem also saw sizable collections.
The marketing buzz and promotions have resulted in this buzz among movie-goers in the first weekend. Hit music, the superhero factor and the visually pleasing content also resulted in good footfalls at the theater.
