Mammootty and Nadhiya had played roles of twins in a Malayalam movie which is titled Twins and this movie also featured Taapsee. Now, this movie would get a Tamil reboot in the name 'Pudhuvai Managaram', given the popularity of all the stars in Tamil Nadu and also the concept of this being a 'twin' based movie.
In this movie, Mammootty gets into trouble for helping Taapsee recover from a road accident. How he comes out of these hurdles, forms the rest of the story.
