AGS Cinemas Villivakkam was the scene of frenetic action on Saturday evening as the theater authorities received a bomb threat at around 5 30 pm. By that time, the matinee shows had been completed and there was no audience thankfully, thereby saving a lot of panic.
Audiences weren't allowed permission into the theater for the next show and the Bomb Detection and Defusal Squad searched the entire complex and then it was confirmed that the call was just a hoax.
