Sona has withdrawn the attempt to sexual assault case against SPB Charan following a written apology from him. The actress had said that she would commit suicide if Charan did not apologize for his deeds and sought an unconditional apology.
However, after negotiations between both the parties, it was decided that Charan would tender a written apology and Sona had accepted it. It may be mentioned here that Sona had threatened an agitation in front of Charan’s residence but called it off after the police did not grant her permission.
