Shah Rukh Khan's Ra One is a film that is very close to his heart. He has hinted that the film will pay a tribute to Rajinikanth whom he admires a lot. Things heated up when word leaked out that Rajini is doing a special appearance in Ra One. Eros International is the producer of Ra One and they are also doing Rana so it was said that the special appearance was possible due to their efforts.
