Actress Nikita Thukral better known for her role in Venkat Prabhu's hit film, Saroja has been banned from the Kannada film industry for three years by the Kannada Film Producers' Association (KFPA). The reason cited is that her illicit relationship with actor Dharshan led to a lot of problems for him on the home front. Vijayalakshmi, Dharshan's wife filed a complaint against him for domestic violence. Nikita's name was also in the complaint. Later, the wife withdrew her complaint.
Nikita is furious with the KFPA. She said that they should offer proof if they are going to drag her name through the mud over an alleged affair. And she added that she had no wish to be a part of such an industry. The Saroja actress has decided to continue working only in Tamil and Telugu films.
